Sunday School
Children age 3-8th grade are invited to Sunday School. Please meet in the church sanctuary at 9:00am. The lesson this week is Cain and Abel.
Freshman Carnival
Next Sunday (9/27) is the annual Freshman Carnival! Plan to stop by after church (11:00am-12:30pm) for a reasonably priced meal, exciting carnival games, and an opportunity to win fantastic deals at our silent auction. This year we are also introducing an all ages cornhole tournament. Sign up as a team of two — all age combinations welcome! There will be different throwing lines to accommodate different ages and skill levels. Contact Mr. Schrader (kevin.schrader@immanuelmankato.org) with any questions.
Volunteer Opportunity
One of our goals at Immanuel is teaching students to show Christ’s love by serving others. Throughout this school year, our 7th–12th grade students will participate in various service-learning opportunities during the school day, including yard work, cemetery clean-ups, preparing items for those in need, and spending time with the elderly.
In addition to these daytime activities, we have an exciting volunteer opportunity outside of school hours for students ages 13 and older:
*Event: Serving food and assisting with clean-up for LEEP Elegance
* Date & Time: Saturday, October 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
*Deadline to Sign Up: Interested students must speak with Mrs. Busch by Friday, October 2.
Please encourage your eligible students to participate in this wonderful opportunity to give back to our community!
Sophomore Expedition
Hidden treasure has been discovered at Seven Mile Creek Park, and the 2025 Sophomore class needs your help to find all the hidden gold coins! Join us at Seven Mile Creek Park on Sunday, Nov. 1 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Hike the trails to find gold coins and answer trivia questions to earn more. Whoever collects the most gold coins wins a treasure!
There are two prices: $20 per person includes a T-shirt; $10 per person does not include a T-shirt. You decide! All T-shirt registrations must be turned in by Sunday, Oct. 18. After Oct. 18, T-shirts will no longer be available.
Bonus: Students second grade and younger are free!
