Volunteer Opportunity
ILS will be hosting the Christian Athletic League (CAL) Basketball Tournament on March 2, 3, and 4, 2023.
Hosting the tournament is our major fund raiser for our athletic program and requires many volunteers to help all things run smoothly. Please consider volunteering to help support our program!
Sign-up sheets to volunteer for concessions, as a hall monitor, or for clean-up (Thur/Fri evening) will be available after church the weekends of February 18/19 and 25/26. You can also sign up by stopping in or calling the school office during the week beginning February 20. Complimentary wristbands for free admittance to the tournament for Immanuel members and nonmembers who volunteer will also be available after church on the dates listed above or from the school office during the week beginning February 20.

5th-12th Skiing
We are planning a winter activity day for Monday, February 6th. We plan to take the 5th through 10th grade students skiing/snowboarding at Mount Kato. Juniors and Seniors are welcome to join as well; however, it is optional for them, and they will have to pay for all of their own fees ($20 for lift ticket and rental) to participate. We will leave after Chapel at 10:05 a.m. and will return to school by 3:00 p.m. In order to get the students registered, we need to have a release form signed by all students. We also need a count for how many students will need lessons and how many will need to rent skis/snowboard.
Please fill out the attached Google form to indicate whether your child will need lessons or equipment rental. Please also see the attached Mount Kato release form. We will be printing and handing these forms out to all of the students to bring home and complete with the help of parents. We need the Google form as well as the Mount Kato release form returned and money collected (if you’re an 11th or 12th grader) by Thursday, February 2nd. Please turn in payments and release forms to Amanda Harris in the school office.
