Sunday School
The Sunday School lesson this weekend is the Apostles Before the Council. Children ages 3 through 6th grade are encouraged to attend on Saturdays at 7:00pm, or ages 3 through high school on Sundays at 9:00am.

Art Show
K-8th and high school art students will have their artwork on display in the church basement on Friday, May 13, from 3:00-4:00pm, and Saturday, May 14 & Sunday, May 15 after the church services.

K-8th and HS Choirs Sing

K-8th and high school choirs sing this Sunday, May 15 during the 10:00am service. H.S. will rehearse at 9:30am in the sanctuary. K-8th rehearsal will be at 9:45am in the 5th &6th grade classroom.

Graduation
Everyone is welcome to attend the graduation ceremony at 6:00pm on Friday, May 20 in the church sanctuary.

Basketball Camps
Immanuel is offering summer basketball camps for students entering grades 1st-12th. Registration forms were sent home with the students.

K-8th Field Day
Parent volunteers are needed for Friday, May 20 for our annual K-8th Field Day at Highland Park. Please contact Matthew Kranz (matthew.kranz@ilsk-12.org) if you can help. Students will be bused to the park. They may get picked up from Highland Park by 1:00pm, or from school by 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided to students at the park after the field day events, but they should bring water. Dress for the weather and apply sunscreen if applicable.

Free Gym Memberships
Planet Fitness offers free summer memberships to students ages 14-19 from May 16-August 31.

Spring Sports

Golf:
Mankato East/ILS lost in a windy tri-meet where the golf balls were blowing off the greens.

Baseball: 
Last Friday night Loyola/IL won 15-5 against Mountain Lake Area.  Jaxon Libby went three for three with three RBI’s.

Loyola/ILS lost on Tuesday night to New Ulm Cathedral 9-5, Jaxon Libby had two doubles.

    Loyola/ILS won on Thursday night against Madelia 7-3

The meet was called due to the weather, not all events were able to compete.

         Boys Discus: Andrew Olmanson 109 feet, personal record, 4th place finish

         Boys Long Jump: Jacob Olmanson 15′ 6″, 9th place finish

         Girls Shot Put: Rebekah Busch 22′ 11″ tied for 11th place
