Arts Camp is a weekend arts experience camp for CLC youth in grades 5-8 that provides: an opportunity for campers to develop friendships with others who share their faith, an opportunity to experience different arts (music, performance, crafts), and encouragement to develop their artistic skills to use for Jesus’ glory!

What You Need To Know:

  • THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MARCH 11.
  • Camp begins on Friday, March 22 , at 6:30 pm. We will NOT be serving supper on Friday.
    • The building will not be open for before 6:00 on Friday as the counselors prepare for camp.
    • Please make other arrangements if you plan to be in town prior to this time.
    • Camp ends after the Sunday service (begins 10:00am).  We do expect all campers to take part in our ensemble for the service unless otherwise notified.
  • We plan on campers staying overnight with us both evenings in the gym as well as throughout the day on Saturday.  If a camper needs to leave camp for any reason, it is important that we know. If possible, we would appreciate prior notice, sent with registration or contacting camp director, Amber Casto.
  • We encourage teachers, families, and friends to attend the Saturday show and stay overnight for the Sunday service.  We would be happy to help find overnight and/or weekend housing with Immanuel members for anyone who is coming.  Please email or call us to request a place to stay.
  • If the cost of Arts Camp is a deterrent for a child coming, please contact us for options for camper scholarships.

Registration 

    • Camp fee is $50/student: fees help cover meals, projects, activities, & a camp shirt.

    • Deadline for registration is March 13th — It is difficult to accept late registrations; please submit on time!

Health and Safety

  • We understand that the health and safety of campers is on the mind of all who are considering being at camp.  We will be doing our best to take precautions in cleaning and sanitizing throughout camp.
  • We will be following Immanuel Schools policies for covid incidents, but ask that each camper is feeling well before coming to camp. If there are concerns or further questions, please contact Amber Casto (507)-327-3029.

Camper Packing List

  • Sleeping bag (No camping cots)
  • Pillow 
  • PJ’s 
  • Toothbrush/paste 
  • Bath towel
  • Outdoor shoes and Gym shoes
  • Deodorant 
  • Soap
  • 2 changes of clothes 
  • Sweatshirt
  • Snacks (no gum or beverages, water bottles ok)
  • Pants or skirts for Sunday.  We’ll all wear our camp shirts.
    **Any electronics (cell phones, ipads, etc) that are brought to camp must be turned in to camp staff for safekeeping during camp.   Should your child need to make a phone call, our counselors will be happy to help make calls using phones at Immanuel or a counselor’s cell phone.
