Early Release
There will be a regularly scheduled early release on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Students should ride the bus home or get picked up at 1:00pm.
K-8 Sings
Students in K-8 will sing during the 10:00am service on Sunday, Sept. 14. There will be a rehearsal at 9:45am in the 3rd & 4th grade room.
K-8 Song
K-8 is currently learning “I Am A Witness” by Shawna Edwards to sing in church in September. If your child(ren) would like to listen at home, here is a link to the song.
Volunteers Needed
Immanuel Lutheran Church and School has the honor of hosting the 2025 Teachers’ Conference, which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 17. The food committee is looking for volunteers to help with preparing meals, serving meals and snacks, and cleaning up after meals. If you are able to help in any of these areas, please contact Julie Busch and let her know which capacity (meal preparation, serving, or clean up) you can help. K-11 Testing
Immanuel students (K-11) will be taking the NWEA MAP tests starting Monday, September 8 through Friday, September 12. The majority of the testing will be done in the mornings. Students will still have some of their regular classes each day we are testing.
Please be sure your child eats a healthy breakfast each morning, gets plenty of rest starting 2-3 nights before testing, and stays hydrated.
The results of the NWEA tests will be used to determine areas in which your student may need more help and in areas your student has made good progress.
