Show your support for ILS Athletics. Game dates and times can be found here:

Spelling Bee

The annual spelling bee will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 1:45pm in the church basement. These are the finalists: Heidi Dick, Elijah Elledge, Bentley Hagen, Scully Hanel, Titus Hart, Mila Hubbard, Maddie Libby, Wyatt Lien, Mason Mariner, Nyamouch Tut, and Emily Vogt.

Kwik Trip Scrip Cards

Help support ILS Athletics by purchasing Kwik Trip scrip (gift) cards. Cards come in denominations of $5, $10, and $20 and may be purchased in the school office.

Kiwanis Lights

Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, Dec. 6 to help with the Immanuel Lutheran School night at Kiwanis Holiday Lights. We also need help with teardown at the end. If you like it a bit warmer, we can even get a group together to work a concessions shift.

First, we need 8 shifts filled to direct traffic while enjoying time at Sibley Park on Tuesday, Dec. 6. They send us out in pairs, so feel free to pick someone you like spending time with and volunteer as a team.

Sign up on your own using the link here or email/call Sarah Kruse (sarah.kruse@mnsu.edu or 507-380-6018).

Volunteers need to be at least 16 years old, so high school students that are 16+ are welcome to help direct traffic.

K-6 Winter Clothing

With winter weather now consistently occurring, students will need to be properly dressed for participating in outdoor recesses.  We would like to have at least one outdoor recess per day to get the students fresh air during the day. Families should monitor their children’s clothing selections to make sure they are appropriately dressed for cold weather. Students who do not have the appropriate winter clothing will not be able to participate in outdoor recess.

To be prepared for outdoor recess students should dress in layers with the following items:

-Long-sleeved shirt

-Sweatshirt or sweater

-Heavy winter coat

-Wool or thick socks

-Gloves

-Winter headwear and/or earmuffs

-Snowpants

-Snow boots

 ILS Wish List Trees

The ILS Wish List Trees are now hanging on the K-8 classroom doors throughout the school. Attached to each tree are items that would be useful in that specific classroom. If you would like to gift one or more of these items to your child’s classroom, please take the tag from the tree and sign the back. After you have purchased that item, you can attach the tag to your gift. (Then we know who to thank!) Any gifts donated can be dropped off with your child’s teacher or at the school office at any time. Last year there were a few requests to make the wish lists digital. Below is a link to access each classroom’s wish list online. If you have any questions, please contact Erin Radichel – erin.radichel@immanuelmankato.org. Thank you so much for supporting our school!
