Volleyball pictures will take place on Tuesday, September 30 at 3:15pm. Please have your athlete(s) wear their blue uniforms to for pictures. Purchasing pictures is optional, but we would like all athletes in the team photo. Order forms have been given to athletes.

3rd-8th Cross Country meet Invitation
Every year MVL hosts a cross country meet for students in grades 3-8 from the area grade schools. This meet will take place on Friday, Oct. 3. If you would like to sign up to run, please let Mrs. Casto know, and she will register you for the event. It is free to run!

Trunk-or-Treat
October 12, 2:00-4:00pm
We are looking forward to putting on another family-friendly event this year and giving parents an alternative to Halloween and trick or treating. This gets more fun every year! But in order to have a Trunk or Treat we need volunteers to bring a “Trunk”! The younger kids appreciate and love seeing the older kids and families making this so much fun for them. ILS Athletics
Kwik Trip Scrip
ILS Athletics will be earning 15% profit on all Kwik Trip scrip cards ordered by Sept. 29.
Denominations Available:
$5, $10, $20, $25. $50, $100, $200, $500
These cards may be used for gas or merchandise inside the store.
If you would like to pre-order to be sure to get the amount/denominations you need, please do so by September 29 with Mrs. Harris in the school office. Some additional cards will be ordered for on-site pickup.
Volunteers Needed
Immanuel Lutheran Church and School has the honor of hosting the 2025 Teachers’ Conference, which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 17. The food committee is looking for volunteers to help with preparing meals, serving meals and snacks, and cleaning up after meals. If you are able to help in any of these areas, please contact Julie Busch and let her know which capacity (meal preparation, serving, or clean up) you can help. Stewards Of Grace Fundraiser
Hilary Lien looking to organize a fundraiser for the Stewards of Grace Program that Mrs. Roettger has been working on with her 5-6th grade classroom. This program aims to organize opportunities for these students to serve in the community at large, and by service to minister to the Mankato community in a variety of ways! So far they have served at the Zero Waste event at Sibley Park and visited MRCI to play bingo with the residents there. Each time the students have been a blessing and been blessed by the experience. It’s fun to see them actively serving others!
In order to have any sort of program costs are involved. Hilary was hoping to help offset the costs for them by setting up a Bake and Craft Sale Fundraiser that will run from October 11-October 26th on the weekends in the church basement. Our goal is to raise $500 dollars to buy t-shirts for the kids to wear as they volunteer and to provide extra funds for Mrs. Roettger to work with.
Hilary is looking for craft items or baked goods that you’d be willing to donate to the sale. It can be anything! Needle work, painting, sewing projects, sketches, cookies, cakes, muffins, etc… Sky’s the limit!
If you are able to help let her know! Donations are due by October 10th!
